I'll Show You A Moment of Inertia
Went and talked to my old freshman advisor just now. For the heck of it, mostly. I'd been meaning to stop by all this semester. She's a nice person, in addition to being just the right amount disorganized, well read, witty, and really damn smart. When I grow up, I want bookshelves like hers.
The nice thing about having an old advisor in the Spanish department is that mention of introductory physical science exams elicits a reaction of true horror. And it was good to be able to talk to someone about life in general, even if it puts me no closer to being able to calculate torque and angular momentum.
