This Weekend Was Pennbowl

Which meant Philadelphia in the snow with Steve, Peter and Gerry. We celebrated Peter's 21st birthday by winning our bracket and going 13-3 overall, with close losses to Michigans A & B and Maryland. Not bad at all, although the weird power-matching finals system made things a little weird. We still might've finished about the same in a bracketed final (we're just guessing until Samer puts up stats, but we think we ended about 7th), but there's something rather weird about playing a semifinal game for a shot at breaking into the finals matches, maybe, depending on how everyone else in the field does. Even if we'd beaten Maryland, it'd have been like "Um... yay(!) I guess?"

Still, still. A respectable showing, and I had a good time. We like Charlie tournaments, but it was nice playing some different teams than the usual UTC crowd. You can check out pictures on the photopage, and stats should be up on Yahoo in a few days for those who really care.
