Writing Assignment

For the heck of it, tomorrow this blog will likely* be participating in the second international grid blogging experiment, which puports to give the blogosphere an openended topic for a certain day, and archive the responses. Their first topic was brand, and tomorrow's topic is ritual. Kind of simplistic there, but we'll give it a try, maybe. Seeing as I've yet to really write any of the usual back-to-school pieces, I figure this is manageable, even if I can't think of anything fascinating to share with you all. So. Just FYI.
