This story about the man-made red tide got me thinking. Have people outside of academia and watchdog groups even heard about the rising levels of prescription drugs in Western nations' waterways? It gives a whole new meaning to the term prozac nation. Ah, well. At least the growth-stunted frogs will be better able to cope psychologically with their crippling disabilities.
