We Have a Phone Number!

I haven't blogged much about my exciting foray into the realm of apartment rentalship, but suffice it to say that things get even more fun when you add in the boyfriend-in-Japan twist to the ordinary tangle of applications, leases, credit checks and insurance forms. So it was with a good bit of excitement -- nay, glee -- that I checked my email last night to find that everything's all set up with BellSouth as far as phones go. It may not be active for another month, but Jake and I have ourselves a land line. And given our bad habits with cell phones, that's probably a very, very good thing.
