In Which This Blog Scrupulously Avoids the Obvious Pun About Tim Burton's Sanity
Those familiar with the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory might remember the Nut Room, a chamber populated by trained squirrels (dangerous to enter, as I recall, because the squirrels would just as soon sort human beings as pecans). Word is director Tim Burton's blown millions of dollars training stunt squirrels from birth in order to recreate the scene. Which, for those of you who need a better excuse than Johnny Depp's mere presence to go see the film, sounds like a decent reason to me.
