Admission:

Last week I bought a laptop entirely so that I could use it at work. I just got it today, and I'm feeling a little guilty, or maybe just spoiled. Even though it was under $600, and it was money from my own paychecks (woo, paychecks!). It's a Dell Inspiron 1200, the cheapest of the cheap. I've never had a computer with such cheap plastic on the casing. I think it may need some stickers, or something. Anyhow, good news for all: I've got wireless in the laboratory, so the blog is back. Maybe even with a vengance.
